Good Onsen style hotel with sea view near to Kii-Tanabe station (very convenient if you will start a walking rout of Kumano Kodo starting from Kii-Tanabe).
The hotel is a little bit old fashion but every corner of the room and public spaces were in very good conditions.
Just be careful because there is some rooms with private toilet but with shared shower/bath, considering that is a Onsen style hotel (we booked a twin room with private toilet but we never image that the bath/shower was shared in the Onsen facilities).

The room was very clean, the sunset outside the window was beautiful, and the dinner was also very exquisite. It was just a little far from the Jr station. We walked all the way there and also enjoyed the quiet and tidy town. The experience was very good 👍

The shuttle bus from Ikidanabe JR Station was at around 2pm. If you missed it, you can only take a taxi there, which costs about 1700JP.
The beach behind the hotel is very beautiful, and you can see the sunset.
I booked a one-night stay with two meals. The dinner was pretty good, and the quality was higher than that of several hotels behind the Kumano Kodo!
There was also dandan noodles for supper in the evening. Personally, I feel that except for the inconvenient transportation, I am satisfied with the hotel in other aspects!
The shuttle bus was delivered to Ikidanabe Station at 10am in the morning. We felt it was a bit late, so we asked the front desk to call a taxi to the station.

The hotel itself is actually good, but it is a 15-minute taxi ride from the train station, which is still a bit far from downtown in this small town.

Don't book this hotel! The most annoying hotel in Japan! My reservation was authentic and valid. When I arrived at the hotel, the hotel front desk manager could not understand English or Chinese. He told me that there was no way to check in. This store discriminated against Chinese people. At 2 o'clock in the morning, I was a girl sleeping on the streets abroad with my luggage. So far, I booked it with Ctrip overseas. This software is just like the hotel in evading responsibility, and it still hasn't given me a solution!
